# pickthepost

> pickthepost schedules photos, carousels and videos to Instagram (professional accounts), Facebook Pages, Threads and Bluesky through their official publishing APIs, with its own caption, cover frame and first comment per platform. Early access. Made by Goldcote (MoltenRock).

## What it does today
- Instagram: photos, carousels of up to 10, Reels with a chosen cover frame, first comment; captions up to 2,200 characters and 30 hashtags.
- Facebook Pages: photos, multi-photo posts, videos.
- Threads: photos, carousels, videos; its own caption within 500 characters.
- Bluesky: up to 4 photos or one video; links and hashtags made clickable; 300 characters.
- Posts go out within five minutes of their time; failed platforms are retried up to five times; errors are explained in plain words.
- Planned (each once its platform approves): TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X.

## Facts
- No browser automation and no passwords: official APIs only (Meta's Instagram and Threads APIs, the Facebook Pages API, the AT Protocol). Bluesky uses a revocable app password.
- Keys are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
- No cookies or trackers on pickthepost.com.
- Prices are not set yet.
