What you need

An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). A personal account can be switched in the Instagram app under Settings, Account type and tools, at no cost.

How to schedule on Instagram

Three steps.

  1. Add your photos or video. pickthepost checks them against Instagram's limits as they arrive.
  2. Write the caption. Keep one for every platform, or give Instagram its own: the counter shows where you stand.
  3. Pick a time or the next free slot. The robot posts it within five minutes of that time and shows you the link.

Does it work with a personal Instagram account?

Instagram only lets apps publish to professional accounts (Business or Creator). Switching is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app; your followers and posts stay as they are.

Can it post Stories?

Not yet. Feed posts, carousels and Reels are live today.

What sizes does Instagram accept?
