Getting started with pickthepost
What pickthepost does, and your first post in five minutes.
pickthepost posts your photos, carousels and videos to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads and Bluesky at the time you pick. Each platform gets its own version of the post: its own caption, its own first comment, and for Instagram Reels, the cover frame you choose. A robot does the posting through each platform's official API.
Your first post
- Open Compose. Press New post (or the
nkey). - Add photos or a video. Drop them on the box, or press From library to reuse one. pickthepost checks each file against every platform you picked and says so if one would be refused.
- Pick where it goes. Tap the accounts under Where it goes.
- Write the caption. The tabs under it show each platform's count. A red dot means a platform's limit is passed: open that tab and switch on Give it its own caption.
- Choose when. Next free slot, Pick a time, or Save as draft to decide later.
- Schedule. Check the summary and confirm. The post appears on the calendar.
That is it. The robot runs every five minutes, so your post goes out within five minutes of its time. Each platform's link shows in the post once it is live.
